
The NSW Clubman Rally Series (CRS) continued at the Toyota Gazoo Racing Narooma Forest Rally, with competitors once again proving that close, competitive rallying can be found throughout the field.
Damian and Seth Nugent claimed outright honours in their Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 3 after another impressive performance, while Dennis and Luke Stanford finished second in their Subaru Impreza WRX. Harrison Hudson and Tommi Flegl completed the outright podium in third aboard their Subaru Impreza WRX, marking an outstanding result in Harrison’s first-ever appearance at the Narooma Forest Rally.
The 2WD category was won by Andrew Chapman and Jim Gleeson aboard their Toyota 86, while Blake Stevens and Stephen Kent claimed victory in the 0–1600cc Pocket Rockets category in their Honda Civic.
Championship Update
Narooma has set the scene for an exciting battle in the NSW Clubman Rally Series, with Damian Nugent and Dennis Stanford now locked together on equal points at the top of the Drivers’ Championship.
The Co-Drivers’ Championship is just as tight, with Seth Nugent and Luke Stanford also tied at the top following strong results across the opening rounds.
Harrison Hudson has moved into third in the Drivers’ Championship following his podium finish, while Jim Gleeson sits third in the Co-Drivers’ Championship.
In the 2WD Championship, Andrew Chapman continues to lead the Drivers’ standings, with Joanne Gorst holding the advantage in the 2WD Co-Drivers’ Championship.
With the championship battle tightening across every category, competitors now turn their attention to the 2026 Lazer Rally of the Bay on Saturday, 25th July.
